I am kindly asking Russian authorities to keep Lenin's mausolem as it is , and preserve it for future generations. Great historic damage will be done my removing Lenin's body, as some have suggested. Everything from the nations past should be preserved for generations to come. If you do not like monuments to some rulers, make new monuments to rulers you like. But do NOT destroy old monuments, please.

Между прочим Дмитрий Шостакович, статья которого помещна у вас на сайте, ненавидел Сталина и называл его полоумным. Речь же которую он прочел на похоронах вождя полнейшая фикция. Вы не согласны?

One day in the presence of Stalin
The author has been to Stalin’s “Kuncevskaya dacha” in the beginning of autumn 1952 as a translator, accompanying one of the past leaders of the French Communist Party, who came to Moscow with an unofficial visit. The author reveals the content of the conversations that included discussing problems that still exist today. (Length of text – 24 pages, with illustrations – 32 pages.)

The Kremlin games of Khruschev
From 1956-1960 the author took part in many govermental receptions in the Kremlin, that were enthusiastically organised by Khruschev. The author writes about the atmosphere at these receptions, characterises the behaviour of the Party and country’s leaders at that time and recalls his conversations with some of them. (Text: 29 pages, with illustrations 36 pages.)

Scetches of portraits
The recollection of the visits to the republics in the Caucasus and Leningrad from 1982-1984. The author recalls the content of the conversations with religious elite, such as metropolitan Ilijah II (Georgia), Catholicos Vasgen I (Armenia), metropolitan Anthony (Leningrad) and others. (Text 20 pages, with illustrations 30 pages).

The Waterfall of Wonders
The author and his elder son have performed Hadj in Saudi Arabia with a group of Russian piligrims in 1997. The author recalls the piligrim process, discribes visiting several holy places and towns.
